All Staff Members and Optometrists are screened daily and temperature checked. We do not come into work if there is any sign of symptoms related to COVID-19

At Office Procedures:

Everyone is screened for COVID-19 symptoms and temperature checked upon entering the office, we ask that you knock on the door and we will come to you.

We ask the following Screening Questions:

Cough, Fever or Chills, Shortness of breath, Sore Throat or Loss of Taste/Smell

Have you or anyone you have been in close contact with travelled outside of Canada in the past 14 days?

Mandatory Masking/Personal Protective Equipment:

All staff members and our patients must wear masks covering the nose and mouth in the office. We are currently not taking any patients under the age of 4 for this reason(subject to change)

If you are unable to wear a mask your appointment will be rescheduled as you may not enter the office.

We are EXTREMELY focused on keeping our Office clean

Surfaces and equipment are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected. We use a wide range of products that fight against viruses and germs including the COVID-19 virus. Our waiting room is cleaned frequently after every patient as well as our debit/credit machines. All magazines, coat racks and toys have been removed from our waiting room as to reduce the risk to our patients.

The exam rooms are cleaned and disinfected after each patient according to the Guidelines given to us by the Ministry of Health. Hand Sanitizer is available in any part of the office. Our Staff and Doctors sanitize and wash their hands before and after interacting with each patient. We also wear gloves when needed to best protect you and our staff.

We have Scheduled all appointments:

We have done this to reduce the number of people in our office at once. Our waiting rooms can only have 4 patients maximum at a time and no more then 2 in our dispensary, this makes physical distancing possible.

Patients are asked to make an appointment for adjustments and all pick ups for glasses/contacts as well, as we stagger appointments to reduce the number of people in the office at once.

We ask that only one parent accompany a child and anyone needing a care partner or family member that they may be asked to sit in their car or outside our office in the hall if we have hit capacity.

Thank you for your co-operation during these times, we are here to help your health and ours.
